Creating Characters with Dan Wells

Whether you write fantasy, thrillers, romance or picture books, stories are about characters; round, interesting characters that have flaws, their own personal arcs and emotional cores. Join us as renown author Dan Wells describes the ins and outs of creating characters that make our stories take on a life of their own. Thishands-on workshop will explore in detail how to flesh out realistic characters to fit whatever story you're working on.

Dan Wells is the author of the Partials sequence, the John Cleaver series, and several other novels and shorter works. published all around the world. He is a co-host on the podcast Writing Excuses, for which he has won a Hugo award and two Parsecs.
